Famous for its powder and family atmosphere, Lookout Mountain gets an impressive 400 inches of powder a year on its 540 acres and 23 runs.

Silver Valley

Silver ValleySilver Valley is an all-season recreational area for those that love the outdoors. Fishing, climbing, river rafting, kayaking, golf, hiking and motorized exploration on two or four wheels. Bow, rifle, and muzzle loader hunting for deer, elk, boar and mountain lion are also popular.

Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes

Trail of the Coeur d'AlenesThis 72-mile-long paved bike trail winds its way along beautiful historic Silver Valley, through the chain lakes, near the river of Lake Coeur d’ Alene, and into the Coeur d’ Alene Indian Reservation. Fun for the entire family.

Route of the Hiawatha

Route of the HiawathaThis trail is a beautiful section of abandoned rail bed that has been turned into on of the country’s most impressive mountain bike trails. The route takes you past waterfalls, vistas, 7 high trestles, and 9 tunnels (including one that is 1.7 miles long). Bring a light!

High Mountain ATV Association

High Mountain ATVWe are the High Mountain ATV Association representing the environmentally conscientious ATV enthusiasts of Shoshone County, Idaho. Several members of our Association are certified instructors for the Idaho State Responsible Riders ATV Safety Cource, and are Tread LightlyTM Master Trainers as well. Our Association is a member of the Wallace Chamber of Commerce and works to promote this area for its beauty and historical significance. We invite you to join with us for some of the greatest ATV riding available in the Northwest.
